Medora Heilbron began her television career at Universal Studios in l979. Working under contract as associate producer for both network primetime comedy and drama series, she rose quickly, becoming the youngest producer at the studio of network primetime television series and movies. Anxious to contribute to the creation of series and movies in a more entrepreneurial environment, she moved from Universal to Paramount Studios in l987 where she served as the Vice President of Television Development for Henry Winkler/Ann Daniel Productions. During her tenure at Winkler/Daniel she developed, sold and produced pilots for primetime comedy and drama series franchises at CBS, ABC and NBC. Additionally, she worked with founding partner Henry Winkler, developing children's programming for disadvantaged youth.

Recruited by USA Networks in l990, to build and launch its entrance into the highly competitive original series arena, Medora created, during her eight and a half year tenure, the only successful block of original primetime dramatic series in the history of cable network television. As Vice President of Series Development she was ultimately given the responsibility for developing series in all programming dayparts, i.e., daytime, primetime, early/late fringe and weekend. Working closely with research, marketing, sales, business affairs, scheduling, and affiliate relations to accomplish the company's goals, she successfully developed series that spanned the genres of drama, comedy, live-action and animated children's programming, game show and serialized daytime dramas. She developed the marquee primetime hits LA FEMME NIKITA, PACIFIC BLUE, SILK STALKINGS and the Emmy award nominated and Cable-Ace award winning comedy series DUCKMAN.

Eager for a new challenge, and the ability to apply her unique skill set in a broader venue, Medora created LIVING OUT LOUD ENTERTAINMENT in 2000. The company oversees the marketing, branding, research, development and productions of television series, movies, specials and websites. Retained by a variety of clients including Showtime Networks, Proctor and Gamble, and World Media Now, her company also recently formed a partnership with the author of the highly successful book franchise WHAT TO EXPECT (20 million copies sold worldwide, published in 30 languages) to develop and produce the WHAT TO EXPECT reality/talk series and exploit the brand in other media.
